Sign up for an Empowering Advent Calendar; feel supported, energised and hopeful in the run up to Christmas

Your power is here now, and you have a lot of it

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here and interested in hearing about what I am offering in the run up to Christmas!

It’s something a bit different, designed to have you feel more energised, confident, and generate feelings of possibility and personal power as we travel through December.

To put you in touch with the energy of ‘I can’ and ‘I am’, which has taken a bit of a bashing for most people this year, and provide you with some company in the run up to Christmas. As we journey to the darkest day of the year, there is no better time to experience the power of your own light, independent of circumstance.

This daily advent email, from me to you, will be full of inspiration to help you get a fresh perspective on yourself and your life as we go through December.

Inside you’ll receive:

  • A question or word of the day to help you focus on how brilliant you are or life is

  • An inspiring quotation

  • Some reflections/guidance from me on the theme of the day to help you get the most out of it

  • A challenge to help you manifest more of your good energy in the world!

  • And something silly or interesting to whet your curiosity palette

It’s £65, is environmentally extremely friendly, good for your mental health, and running until the 26th of December is less than £2 a day - which is less than a takeaway coffee (significantly if you live in London).

If you are interested, please dm me on social channels or email me here at felicitymorsecoaching@gmail.com so I can sign you up! I accept bank transfers and paypal (at the same email).

And because I would like to know what I would be paying for, if I was in your shoes, here is a sample of what the content might look like… fresh to your inbox every day.

Your power question of the day is:

What’s right with your life right now?

Your inspirational quote for today is:  ‘This day will never come again’ (Thomas Merton)

The power of a question: why this one

In our well-intentioned bid to try and help heal or create positive change in the world, we often start from a place of ‘what’s wrong?’ We put our focus there.  And perhaps this is useful for diagnostics and certainly burying our head in the sand isn’t helpful or sustainable.

However ‘what’s wrong’ has the power to wreck our self-esteem and take us into shame, as we continually seek out the thing that is wrong, and refine that into a habit, until we believe the thing that is wrong is us. If we always ask what is wrong, talk about what is wrong, wrongness will multiply.

And what next? So often we find the wrong thing and get stuck in it.  This question is a spring-loaded trap unless we know how to bring love, hope, energy and compassion to what we find. And that requires knowing that part of ourselves and our lives. We need something that feels good-enough to lean into.

I am not denying suffering. The truth is that in terms of our attention, it will take care of itself. Pain is brilliant at capturing attention. So how about we look at what is right with our life? Somewhere that doesn’t hurt. The areas where actually things are tickety-boo. Where there is no problem. Where things feel good.

I don’t care how small it is. Maybe it’s just how you like your coffee, maybe that is nailed. Maybe it’s a two line exchange at the market, that was pretty damn good. Maybe it’s the sky. It looked good today.

I remember standing in front of the mirror once in a thunderous mood, about to go out, and not wanting to, but knowing I really should because it would make me feel better and thinking, I hate everything. And then for some reason, my inner monologue came back at me with, “mmm no actually I quite like this dress”. I do still really like that dress. Start noticing what is right with your life that is here now, without you needing to do a thing. Misery can take care of itself. You got this.

Your challenge for today, should you choose to accept it is:

Notice something right about your life and express gratitude for it to yourself, the person who helped you co-create it, or the universe. Double points if you do it on social media, or you could reply to this email if you like.

And because you made it this far:

Coyote’s are often tricksters in Native American stories

Here’s an interesting fact - winter was the traditional time for storytelling in days gone by.

Stories were our original way of passing on information and meaning to help navigate our way through life. Stories are literally ‘satisfying’ - a good ending to a story will release dopamine, the ‘reward’ hormone.

It’s during this inside time that myths, homespun wisdom and folklore was passed on, as people spent time by the fire together.

In fact, in some Native American traditions, you can only tell stories about the Coyote during winter, otherwise it will bring on cold weather and bad luck.

With all the belief in you, in life, and whereever you find yourself right now. I hope to hear from you soon!

Felicity
